Daniele Sigalot Einmal ist Keinmal

Anna Laudel Düsseldorf showcases “Einmal Ist Keinmal” by the Italian artist Daniele Sigalot, who is
recognised by his innovative use of different materials and interdisciplinary techniques. Following his extensive
solo exhibition presented at Anna Laudel Istanbul in 2018, “Einmal ist Keinmal” will be Sigalot’s second solo
show at the same gallery and will be on display between 26 September-14 December 2019.

Opened on September 26th, “Einmal Ist Keinmal” means ‘Once is never’, which implies that doing something
only once, does not count. After the extensive solo exhibition of Sigalot presented at Anna Laudel Istanbul in
2018, which was titled “Empires Ago”, almost all works from that exhibition will be presented again with the
title of “Einmal ist Keinmal”, including with new photography series that artist has been working on. This
German saying also fits very well to Sigalot’s cynical artistic language, which is present throughout the
exhibition.
