Şeyma Barut

Şeyma Barut, born in 1987 in Istanbul, received her BA from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Painting Department. For a long time, Barut was interested in the domination of the sexes by society and their effects on individuals. With its images, it aims to make the audience question that situation by referring to the situation, what should be or what is expected. In her current works, she focuses on the subject-object-space and individual-society relationship.
