Seda Gecü, born in 1988, Istanbul
He lives and works in Istanbul.
Inspired by poststructuralist thought and posthumanism, her art practice mainly consists of drawings. By creating a speculative universe of images in his works, he examines the relations of space, body, geography and socio-cultural structures. In his workshop, he creates a production space where his art, architecture and academic studies intersect, where theory and practice are intertwined.
His works were exhibited at Mamut Art Project (Istanbul, 2019), Project Space Festival (Berlin, 2019) and contemporary art platform Nom-studios. She appeared in print and online media such as Bant Magazine, Le Cool Magazine, and QP Women Magazine.
