Özge Kahraman

Born in Istanbul in 1991, the artist started his art life by winning the Yeditepe University Fine Arts Faculty Plastic Arts Department. After completing her undergraduate education with a degree, she completed the Master's program at Yeditepe University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Plastic Arts, with a degree with the thesis of "Dream, Memory and Surrealism in Turkish Painting Art". The artist, who participates in exhibitions at home and abroad, continues his works in his workshop in Istanbul.

The artist, who professionally practices 'caving' and participates in many cave explorations, reveals the beauties of caves that remain hidden from the eyes in his works. A continent hidden under the earth: Much of it is unexplored, not properly understood, and featured in legends. This unknown underground space contains impressive views. According to the artist; Dark, endless, unexplored, vast caves reflect the mystery and obscurity of dreams. However, these dark underground cavities illuminate us with the small beam of 'Light' they shelter in and arouse our curiosity. Waiting to be discovered, which we will never discover completely; It is an art to be followed with passion for some, a frightening darkness for some, and an obscurity with deep meanings for others: the hidden beauties of the world: Caves. The artist who conveys his art with the punctuation technique; The caves reflect the beauty of the caves and with what sublimity the small beams of light shine in this place. Since caves and underground beauties are formed over millions of years and contain millions of details, the artist brings these details to life with the punctuation technique and tries to reflect these natural wonders down to the smallest detail.
