Alican Leblebici

Although Alican Leblebici is known for his hyper-realistic portraits and self-portraits, he also produces works in different disciplines such as photography, installation, video and sculpture. In his early works, he came to the forefront with his portrait and self-portrait works. Now he explores the concept of power through art, the body, and politics. It examines the concept of power and with it the powerless in the aesthetic of disobedience. It focuses on the way the strong assert their power and the rebellion-objection forms of the challenger.
