EKAV / Education, Culture and Research Foundation will host Aşkım Akyıldız's 5th personal exhibition with the same title, where pictures turn into poems and poetry turns into paintings with her poetry book "Sitemim Lal (Silent Reproach of Mine)", at Ekavart Gallery between 25 April - 25 May 2024. is hosting.

While the artist keeps his works alive in all conditions of nature, the figures, sometimes in the rain, sometimes in the storm, blown from place to place, sometimes mixed in the waves at the seaside, come to life in the arms of cats and dogs. Pictures nailed to an old garden gate, sleeping with hydrangeas at night, hanging on church walls and the bell tower, small figures forgotten among white lace cushions, pictures with bright insects and ants crawling on them, in the cavities and branches of olive trees...

Apart from painting, the artist produces his paintings in the sea and forest villages where he spent most of his life; She also weaves her figures with needle, thread and fabric. While the patterns drawn with a fine scanning tip and the lightness of watercolor often create figures and portraits floating in space, the poetry of the ink turns into painting.

My love Akyıldız dedicates the exhibition to everyone who has a shameful reproach;

To the children who are reproachful,

To the animals that are reproachful,

And to women with rosy cheeks...
