Nihal Sak

He graduated from Istanbul School of Applied Fine Arts and Işık University Faculty of Fine Arts. The artist, who has been producing oil on canvas and mixed media works since the 1980s, has created a unique style by combining her interest in knitting with painting in recent years. In these works, while the painter creates contemporary works using traditional methods such as weaving, knitting and embroidery, he also aims to draw attention to the fact that the unlimited interdisciplinary sharing of materials and techniques of fiber art creates a style of expression with countless possibilities. Nihal Sak, who continues her work in Istanbul, participated in the exhibition titled "Meeting of the Masters" in 2018, which was about the four great masters of contemporary Turkish painting (Adnan Çoker, Devrim Erbil, Balkan Naci İslimyeli and Özdemir Altan) and the eight important painters trained by them. In September 2019 He also held a personal exhibition at Mine Art Gallery in Bodrum.
