Mediha Didem Türemen

Mediha Didem Türemen (b. 1982, Kuşadası) graduated from Istanbul University SBF
International Relations Department and started her MA degree at Mimar Sinan University of
Fine Arts Cinema TV. She continued to work in the Department of Basic Art and Design at
the same university. Whilst working as production designer and art director in the field of
filmmaking, she opened her first solo photography and engraving exhibition in 2013. In 2013
she was awarded as one of the "Lorenzo il Magnifico" awards at the Florence Biennial with
her engravings. She participated in many biennials and exhibitions with her photography and
engraving. Her engravings are in reputable collections in different countries, including the
Albertina Museum. The artist continues to live and work in Istanbul.
