Işıl Çelik

Işıl Çelik completed her high school education at the Anatolian Fine Arts High School Painting Department as the top student in 2005, and her undergraduate education in Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Department of Art History in 2009. In the same years, she started to give lectures on historical artifact drawing at the Archeology Department of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. The artist, who started his second undergraduate education in the Department of Ceramic and Glass Design at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in 2010, started to do a double major in the Department of Stage Decors and Costume in 2011. The artist, who graduated from both departments in 2018, has worked in different materials and disciplines alongside many local and foreign artists while receiving interdisciplinary art education within the academy for many years. Base 2018 has been an exhibition finalist. The artist, who has participated in many publications, group exhibitions and stage design, lives and continues her work in Istanbul.
