Hans Op de Beeck, who produces life-size installations and sculptures as well as drawing, painting, video, photography and writing, was born in Turnhout, Belgium in 1969. While reflecting the chaotic world in his works, the artist, who incorporates universal thoughts on the meaning of life and mortality, invites the audience to fully experience his work by stimulating their senses at the maximum level. The artist, who is an expert in creating visual fiction, creates moments of wonder and silence in which the viewer turns into himself. His works include The Hague Museum of Contemporary Art, Smithsonian's Hirshhorn Museum and the Sculpture Garden, Tate Modern, Kunstmuseum Thun, Centro de Arte Caja de Burgos, The Reina Sofia, Venice Biennale, Shanghai Biennale, MACRO, the Whitechapel Art Gallery, Center Pompidou, the Museum of Modern Art and It was exhibited in many venues including the PİLEVNELİ Gallery. Hans Op de Beeck lives and works in Brussels and Gooik.
