A. Halim Kulaksız started photography during his high school years. REFO in Ankara in 1969 He opened his first laboratory called COLOR. New York Institute of Photography finished successfully. In 1971 he opened his "Images 1" personal exhibition in Ankara. In 1972 he opened his "Images 2" personal exhibition in Istanbul. He participated in many group exhibitions at home and abroad. In 1973, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Directorate of Fine Arts "Our Turkey" has received the award in the photo contest. In 1974, the Ministry of Tourism and Promotion "organized by Turkey," says Diana positive first prize in the contest and received three honorable mentions. He was selected for many photography contest juries. Many photographs were exhibited at home and abroad. In 1985, he opened his "Images 3" personal exhibition in Ankara. He received the AFIAP title in the International Photography Federation. He worked as a lecturer in Istanbul Mimar Sinan University Photography Institute for two years. In 1978 in Istanbul and later in Izmir and Antalya, REFO COLOR A.Ş. opened its laboratories. In 1988, he started publishing the REFO PHOTOGRAPHY ART Magazine. He worked extensively on color photography in various parts of the world (America, Japan, England, France, Switzerland, Germany, Italy). developments related to this issue meticulously uses the laboratories in Turkey.
