Hakan Gürsoytrak
He graduated from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University Painting Department in 1990. He received his master’s degree in 1993 from Reading University, Fine Arts Department. In 1996, Gürsoytrak completed his sufficiency in arts in Anatolia University, Social Sciences Institute, Specializing In Painting, with the thesis titled “Imagery In Contemporary Arts”. Until 2006, he worked as an Associate Professor at the same university’s Fine Art Faculty Painting Department. He has participated in many mixed and group exhibitions, and fairs, both nationally and internationally. In 2003, he participated in the ‘’Clandestine’’ section of 50th International Venice Biennal. Gürsoytrak, who is among the founders of the group Hafriyat, is a teaching member in Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. The artist has been working with Evin Art Gallery since 2003.
